I love my condominium parking space. Behind the dumpster is another red NA, out of frame is a White 350z, a S tingray normally sits by the Sti and there’s a W8 passat wagon back behind the photographer. Not bad.
Bonus DOTS:
The most hideous rear end on any car currently sold in America and a minty-fresh, manual transmission Protege5 wagon. In yellow. *swoon*

New Nissan Leaf not rare enough to deserve a callout? Around here, I think they’re 1:1 with the Protégé :D
The older ones are a little more common, but still way behind the Volt, which in turn is behind the Model S. Weird priorities.

Hey, what’s the plan with the ol’ brick?

Had a highly-recommended Volvo shop go through everything. Engine is strong, no permanent damage. Having them do the t iming belt, cam seals, water pump, PCV system, fixing some minor electrical gremlins and a brake job. I feel guilty not doing some of it myself, but at the same time it is so nice to have something taken care of quickly for once, and by people who eat, sleep and breath Volvos. Should be done today.

Nice. Shot in the pants to start, but getting it all out of the way so you can go back to driving.
[traumatic flashbacks of timing belt bill]
HMMMMMM

That’s the idea. Fingers crossed!
For the amount of work they’re doing, I’m just happy to be walking out paying less than the initial purchase price

That's really not bad at all.

“The most hideous rear end on any car currently sold in America”
I think this comes close:

Ah, for the days of functionally elegant Land Rover design

In a move of solidarity, I bought a Volvo wagon today. It’s a 2015 with the sport chassis and beechnut (brown) interior.
I f you know anyone who wants a C30, let me know. I’ll let it go cheap!

Love the P5 wagon in that yellow. It’s a crying shame almost all died of rust long before their time.

Come to Washington State, I see a few good ones every week. Tha above yellow was manual too!

What was that? You say you’ll let your V70r go cheap?
Seriously though, congrats! May you have many years of issue free enjoyment. Post a review on Oppo sometime. More Volvo content can only be for the better

I had a beautiful blue manual 2006 Mazda3. Most reliable car I’ve ever owned but started to rust by late 2010, despite trying really hard to keep it clean.

I don’t know how to start a post, I have only figured out how to reply. What I can tell you is that it's a really nice car and as sacrilegious as this will sound, I am looking forward to having an automatic transmission. And brown leather interior is going to be sweet too.
I sold the V70 a few years ago when I bought the C30.
